Radical awakening is not just a privilege of a few, but a necessity of our troubled times. Recent results of modern consciousness research -- fortified by powerful combination of Holotropic Breathwork and time-honored Mindfulness meditation -- have a potential to take us far beyond just psycho-spiritual health and wellness. An approach to be introduced at this retreat is based on the recognition of awakened spirit as our existing true essence. Since extraordinary capacities of awakened…See More

As always, we start with a free Introductory lecture which is required for the retreat participants."Holotropic" means moving toward wholeness. Our healing and transformation is an ongoing process. At some point of this process, we ask ourselves how can we apply what we learned to help others - our loved ones, our families, our communities, the Earth and all its beings.Rather than just feel angry or despondent and powerless over sad world events that make recent news, we can shift onto a new…See More

The modern technique of Holotropic Breathwork created by Stanislav and Christina Grof, as well as the ancient Shamanism, use a healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness. But if in shamanic practices the shaman is a key figure, in Holotropic Breathwork - and this is the main difference - healing is not mediated by anybody outside of ourselves, but is guided only by the intrinsic wisdom of a breather. This retreat is NOT a shamanic training. However it will allow - with a deep…See More

I am Russian psychologist, a certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitator and also a certified yoga teacher. My breathwork journey began in 1994 in Russia and led me to the U. S. where I completed the Grof training. Since then, I've been facilitating at training modules and public workshops in the U. S. and Russia. I live on Long Island (USA) and travel to my native town Saratov in Russia where I lead Holotropic Breathwork retreats. We have a strong growing community there, our sacred ritual sites, besides -- retreat format is by far my most favorite.
How has the practice of breathwork affected your life and work? ( This will be shown on your public profile.)
Practicing breathwork has literally turned my life upside down -- in a good way. With that sense of direction coming through the contact with the Inner Healer, it led me to change my relationships (with humans and other beings), social status, primary occupation, even my home country. It taught me how to respond to the Call when it comes and gave me support from archetypal forces in making life choices. Most importantly, it gave me the sense of home that is not related to one's physical place of living -- rather it's the place inside of one's heart, always accessible, OR... the breathwork room -- wherever in the whole world it might be. It brought me to close touch with the inner truth. It gave me a deep trust in the Higher Power that works behind the scenes. Hopefully, it made my work with people more heart-centered.
