Profile Information

What is your interest in Holotropic Breathwork? (This will be shown on your public profile.)
I am in the GTT training program to become a facilitator. My goals are to provide workshops in HB at my land in coastal Oregon and to use HB as a therapeutic tool in my private clinical practice.
Tell the other community members something about yourself. (You can change or expand this later in your Profile.)
I am a semi-retired Clinical Social Worker. I live and work on 33 acres along the Upper Nestucca River near the north coast of Oregon, with my partner, Dana Anderson. I am interested in living mindfully and helping to change the consciousness of those I encounter in my work and life here and beyond. I am in the process of writing a novel which attempts to reframe some of the way in which the Christian myth has been interpreted throughout history. I have two adult children and am expecting my first grandchild this coming December.
How has the practice of breathwork affected your life and work? ( This will be shown on your public profile.)
The practice of breathwork has opened up my life in significant ways. After years of depth psychology and Jungian analysis, I have found breathwork to be extremely integrative, bringing together body, psyche and soul and giving important insight on my personal birth experience as well as past-life experiences. Breathwork adds a dimension to my personal and professional work that was missing or not well-articulated before I encountered this modality. I would like to share this work with others.
