Great Mandalas, mister! They look like they're made out of sand....
Just to refresh your memory, we met in Menla last summer...
Will you be my GTT buddy?
Will you be at Joshua Tree?
Things are well. My daughter has improved. I would love to be at Menla again this year. Haven't decided yet. Perhaps for the second module 'In the Arms of the Dragon." I have several trips already planned for this year…"
Thanks for all the help in welcoming me online. How are you keeping by the way. How did your power retreat go? The one you were preparing for before after you left menla last time. Would love to hear how it all went for…"
"Hey Hey Sahidi,
How are you love? Finally I got my online thing down - so we can connect a little more. I hope you are well and look forward to meeting agian for some holotropic fun! Are you going to menla again. I am going for the second…"
This is a dialogue with Stan focused on mandalas. In this interview he speaks about the role mandalas play in holotropic breathwork and his understanding of how mandalas can be harnessed to tune in to certain states of consciousness.
What is your interest in Holotropic Breathwork? (This will be shown on your public profile.)
I have two great passions, one is the exploration of consciousness the other is the construction of mandalas. Holotropic Breathwork is one of the most powerful techniques I have come accross for accessing expanded states of awareness.
Tell the other community members something about yourself. (You can change or expand this later in your Profile.)
I have always felt there is more to reality than we confront with our 5 senses. Over the years I have followed this intuition and have been rewarded with many wonderful inner experiences. I am an avid believer of the inner healer and feel forever grateful for awakening to that something that is way bigger than me.
How has the practice of breathwork affected your life and work? ( This will be shown on your public profile.)
Both Holotropic Breathwork and the construction of mandalas have helped me connect me with that higher power I call the 'Great Spirit'. Nothing comes close to the experiences that unfold when I am connected to this higher wisdom. Nothing changes my life more, it frees me from patterns of attachment, opens me to greater depths of feeling, fills me with more gratitude, awakens me to the interconnectivity of existence, provides power in times of challenge, clarity when confusion visits and overwhelming feelings of being protected and loved.
Do you have a web site address for community members to find out more about you?
I am definitely hoping to attend Menla again, but it depends on how the finances look (currently looking for employment). I'd also like to get back to Ireland in the near future ... although I do live in that suburb of Dublin known as Boston.
