Tim O'Connell and I will lead a HB workshop in Stirling, New Jersey, On September 26th, where you will be most welcome.
My sincere advice to you would be to NOT attempt HB on your own. In ordinary consciousness this may seem like a viable idea, but in non-ordinary consciousness, if we are truly "open to outcome", we can find ourselves way regressed and in urgent need of a warm hand to hold. To do this work alone is to risk encountering "self-abandonment"; I have done this work over one hundred times and I have never, and would never, work alone.
And operationally, the safety created by a sitter or a group is an essential part of our ability to surrender to the larger possibilities of Self afforded by NOSC, equal in my opinion to the effects of 1.) the conscious breathing and 2.) the music. All three conditions are as vitally necessary as each other.
