If anyone shot any video before or after their workshops, and it's appropriate, it would be fun to upload it onto YouTube then share the link there.

Hi, I'm new to this field and I was wondering if it's possible to experience holotropic breathwork here in Portland, Or. Thank you.

Breathwork Northwest held space for 35 breathers at the University Friends Meetinghouse in Seattle this year, with the help of 7 facilitators/apprentices (Glenn Girlando, Laurel Watjen, Ronald Long, Janet Kingsley, Karin Gagnon, Ember Bekofsky, and Ken Ghalambor). We enjoyed a heart-opening kirtan with the Bhakti Bliss Band on Friday evening after our opening circle and introductions, then started Saturday morning with a conference call and group OM with Michael Stone's workshop in LA and Ukiah Marcus's workshop in Portland. The day was marked by intense processes and remarkable openings- more so than we've seen in one day for many years. A surprising number of sitters went into process as well. We followed up with a brunch on Sunday morning for anyone who was up for it, and the connections deepened. In the days following the workshop, a stream of positive incoming emails from participants reminded us of why we do this work. As Renn experienced, we had an unusual burst of last minute registrations, as well as people almost cancelling and then recommitting. We also had a record number of items left behind. Gotta love those stars!

     Hello from Victoria, Canada.  Twenty-one of us enjoyed a sweet day at the inspiring Church of Truth sanctuary.  For me, the breakthrough Mars-Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto energies manifested in a number of ways.  There was an unexpected surge of enrollments in the final days.  We also had a number of young, first-time breathers, although some of the veterans had intensely dynamic sessions and seemed to be setting the pace.  As well as powerful surges of energy and emotion, I was struck by the satisfying depth of experience that people reported, even though their sessions were outwardly quiet at times—perhaps reflecting the Moon trine Pluto world transit.  More participants than usual seemed to be impressed and surprised by their inner openings.  A number of people had physical breakthroughs and releases of tension, as the bodywork seemed to be unusually effective.  One described it this way:

"I just want to say again, thank you for letting me join the workshop this Saturday. It was an amazing experience for me. I have felt an amazing flow of energy through my body since, like I am able to tap into reservoirs in my body that were previously closed for me. I am really amazed by this and I am looking forward to the next time I will be able to attend a workshop!"

 And another:

"I have no idea what happened with my hip yesterday but thanks for the exceptional work - it feels very awake, balanced and loose today.  Just wonderful!  Thanks!"

     The dynamic transits also seemed to impart a kind of centrifugal quality to the day.  With our workshop going long, several people were anxious to leave without attending the sharing—although one left with permission and then on reflection came back.  There was an unusually positive level of integration—a circle of smiling enthusiastic faces beaming, laughing and appreciating each other.  We did our humorous Vedic-Egyptian Om-Ra! shout at the end and everyone seemed to leave in a good or satisfactory mood.  And finally, perhaps due to the centrifugal feeling, a record five major items were left behind, as people headed out into the lush spring twilight with less baggage than they came with.  :-)  My helpers James Cunningham, Margaret Yandel and Mima Djordjevic were very caring and supportive.

     I have come to love this time of year and it is always nice to feel the connection with other facilitators and breathers around the world.  I had a distinct sense on Saturday—also based on a group skype call with Rick Doblin last week—that this kind of exploration has really now become the mainstream.  Perhaps we are at the spring equinox of the paradigm shift, with the great summer of evolution now so close.

the 4th Global Breathwork day was celebrated in Hamilton Ontario Canada. My co-facilitator for the past 3 Global days was unable to join as she has a broken leg.

There were 7 breathers and the theme of the day was peace, love and connectedness. The camaraderie of the group was very connected and supportive throughout the day and some of the members even felt very "blissed out" by their experience.

It was so great to be part of the Global Breathwork.

Greetings global community!, We had 17 people in our group in Oakland, Ca. Cal Parrott co-facilitating and Angel Cassidy apprenticing with us.  Third year of doing it here!  We dedicated our day to the healing of the planet.

As usual for these one day groups, there was a diverse pallette of experiences of all ongoing learning I get from this work of the richness and complexity of our humanity....sending much love to everyone for a restfull and integrative post-breathwork!, Mireya

Holotropic Breathwork Houston held its third annual Global Holotropic Breathwork Day workshop with a full house of 18 participants, our capacity for the space. Led by Pamela Stockton and Mark Ryan, with the support of Marc Edwards, who is apprenticing, the event took place at the beautifully decorated Dawn Mountain Tibetan Temple. Matthew Stelzner's video on the astrology of the day was sent to participants in advance. Experiences ran the gamut, from concerns that little had happened, to the reliving of major biographical co-exes, to powerful transpersonal connections. All, however, expressed positive sentiments about their participation and a desire to continue with the work. Now in its third year, Holotropic Breathwork Houston seems to be forming a progressively cohesive community, benefitting from related activities at the C. G. Jung Educational Center of Houston, The Houston IONS group, and other local organizations. For further information on Holotropic Breathwork Houston, see the website at a href=">">>;
