It's finally here!

Holotropic practitioners and transpersonal therapists have for years expressed the need for a multi-purpose center based upon Holotropic and transpersonal principles.

Now we have one.

Tav Sparks, director of Grof Transpersonal Training, and Brack Jefferys, Ph.D., LPC, LCAS, RN, annouce the opening of FIRES CREEK CENTER.

Fires Creek Center is a unique, state-of-the-art addictions recovery program, spiritual emergency center, and wellness retreat located in the pristine beauty of the Smokey Mountains in western North Carolina.

OUR APPROACH
The Fires Creek project uses cutting-edge experiential technologies along with the best of traditional, time-honored recovery and wellness practices:

* Deep experiential methods, including Holotropic BreathworkTM and mindfulness-based approaches, to initiate and support positive psycho-spiritual change

* 12 Step work, education, group and private therapy, work with the family, and after-care

* The healing power of nature, including organic and ornamental gardening, labyrinth building and walking, and other earth-based practices

* Art, Sandplay, mask-making, SoulCollageTM, dance and movement, meditation, massage and bodywork, film, and nutritional support with a wholesome natural diet

* Ongoing experiences with visiting guest teachers

* Streaming interactive video sessions with teachers and experts world-wide

Fires Creek Center is licensed by North Carolina Division of Health Services Regulation to provide substance abuse and mental health services.

REFERRALS AND AFTERCARE
Making sure our clients continue their healing journey with expert support once they leave the center is of vital concern to us. Clients will be referred to appropriate Holotropic and other practitioners worldwide.

FUNDS ALLOCATED FOR PRACTITIONERS
Part of the Fires Creek Center admissions fees will be set aside for practitioners in the world community to whom we can refer our seekers for appropriate follow up: on-going recovery, wellness, and after-care.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRACTITIONERS
We see the Fires Creek Center experience as an unsurpassed opportunity for those pursuing certification, or wanting to expand their experience as Holotropic Breathwork practitioners.

* Participants and graduates of Grof Transpersonal Training will have the opportunity to receive hands-on experience as interns at Fires Creek working with addictions clients or those with other forms of spiritual emergency.

* Fires Creek will be using a multifaceted educational and clinical approach. We are looking forward to our clients working directly with certified Holotropic facilitators, therapists, students in academic programs seeking internships for degree and licensure requirements, guest faculty, and other educators. A COMMUNITY-BUILDING PROJECT
The Holotropic perspective is not just a revolutionary theory and method. It is a living, breathing practical reality that can transform traditional models of mental health and how we live our daily lives.

* We see Fires Creek Center as the beginning of a synergistic opportunity for the world-wide Holotropic and transpersonal community to work together.

* A second center is already in the formative stages in Brazil, with Brazilian GTT Director Alvaro Jardim as co-creator and partner.

* We have also received serious inquiries about opening centers from Holotropic practitioners in Australia, Spain, Norway, and Scotland.

RATE
Client services may be eligible for insurance reimbursement.

* Addictions Treatment - 28 days: $ 16,000 or $4000 per week
* Spiritual Renewal - per week: $ 1,500 or $275 per day
* Spiritual Emergency - per week: $ 4,000
* Special rates available to certified HB facilitators who come for renewal.

Scholarships and adjustments to our rates are available on a needs basis. We are able to work out payment plans as well. Please let us know how we can help you.

TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS
Tax-deductible donations may be made for any amount, payable to Holotropics Health Care Inc. (501c3) and designated: Fires Creek Center. See contact information below for address.

Donations of furnishings and a vehicle are also welcome at this time.
